An Article on Duncan

If you are so inclined and would enjoy a really nice article about STBs and Duncan, go to
www.goinggaited.com and click on Columns and I do hope you like what you see.
I was contacted right after the State Championships and the writer did a phone interview last week.
The major part of the article came from the writers research not from me.

I especially liked the history of the breed and several of the issues we all deal with.

Again, the Big Guy gets out into the real world away from just STBs.

The end of January

It certainly has been a month. We have another major storm headed in mid week. So, Feb will be off to a roaring start. ii

I have to pick up shavings tomorrow and will take some pictures at the barn. I am told the fence is shrinking. LOL.

Everyone stay safe.

Winter in Rhode Island

This January has been a bear. Storm after storm. Today we were supposed to get a "dusting" that turned into almost 4 inches. Tomorrow afternoon another big Nor'easter is headed in and they are guessing another 12 inches of snow.

Duncan and is barn mate Jupiter are enjoying all the snow and their vacation. I will start working Duncan in March. We have a busy 2011 planned capping off the year with a trip to Georgia in October to compete in the National Barrel Horse Assoc World Championship Barrel Runs. He will be the only Standardbred there I am almost sure, that's the way it has always been in the past when we have gone to the big runs. I am looking forward to 2011. There will be some surprises for some folks who don't like us but that's ok, they can get over themselves.

Everyone stay safe and warm.
